PeaceLoveCruise Posted June 10, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2012 Anyone every heard of this? What is this about? Are there special events during this time? Planning an after cruise trip this December and just wanted to plan accordingly. Thanks!
Aquahound Posted June 10, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 10, 2012 I have never heard of it until now. I know of the individual events, like the lighted boat parade, but never knew they made a name out of the several events. Interesting. None of it are really must dos, but if you plan on attending, enjoy yourself! :)
Silvery Seas Cruiser Posted June 10, 2012 #3 Share Posted June 10, 2012 We really enjoyed the lighted boat parade one year and believe it or not, it was really biting cold! The Christmas lights are pretty at that time too on buildings that are decorated. The first week or two of December seems to have fewer tourists and I kind really like Key West that way even though I'm sure business suffers. threeofus Posted June 19, 2012 #4 Share Posted June 19, 2012 Patience is the word...as everything in key west, time is relative. Last year the lighting of the tree on the harbor walk was at least an hour late and santa clearly had a few....just say'n but the lighted boat parade was pretty - i don't recall it being too cold.
