Porterage

This will be our first trip on Regent that includes the included pre-crusie hotel. It say porterage is included.

 

Does that mean to just the hotel or to the hotel room?

I believe it is just to the hotel.

That was our experience, as TC2 says, it's included to the hotel, the hotel bellmen are not part of the package.

When we arrived at the Fairmont for our precruise stay, our luggage was removed from the coach and taken to our room. We were in the room when the bellman delivered the luggage, and we handed her a tip. She said, "We have been tipped by Regent already." We still tipped her because her honesty and attitude were refreshing and appreciated.

I failed to mention that this was in May 2012 on our San Francisco to Vancouver Alaska cruise.

Wow, that's very impressive! That cruise still seems very fresh in my mind, I hope it does in yours.

Hi Wendy, it is still fresh. We enjoyed it very much and will go back in the future. We're trying to get South America worked out now since they have changed the itinerary that we booked. Since we didn't meet on the Navigator, who knows, we might on a future Oceana cruise.:)
