Walk in booking in Miami.

Does anyone know if we were in Miami and decided we wanted a cruise in the next couple of days, could this be arranged? Could we simply walk into a travel agent or booking office and arrange a cruise for departing in a few days time?

Not sure about with a TA or not but through the cruise line you should be able to if there are cabins available. Good luck.

You could either call the cruise line or talk to a TA. I think you have to book two or three days prior to the cruise which is a government requirement but not sure the precise date.

Yes, you can book a couple of days in advance. Certainly thru the cruise line and I would think a TA coul also do it. Obviously, there must be a cabin available.

Most of the cruises are going out full so you well could have a hard time finding a cabin but you certainly can try.

You can call Carnival in the morning and sail in the afternoon. the only TSA requirement is that the manifest be submitted 60 minutes before sailing. But you have to call the cruise line, using a TA can only create delays. And it will take you a little longer to check in because you won't be able to do the online checkin details. EM

If the cruise is still showing available cabins online, you can book one right where you are sitting without needing to walk anywhere.
