Changing or last minute specialty reservations

We'd like to book 1-2 specialty dinners when we take our 11 night eastern med cruise next year. Thanks to CC I have all the MDR menus and there are some dishes I would hate to miss. It seems hit or miss what order they are in from cruise to cruise.

If we book a table and then see that we really want dinner in the MDR - is it difficult to change the date? Or just the opposite, if we find we dislike a particular MDR menu is it difficult getting a last minute table at a specialty restaurant?

We ate at the Tuscan Grille in January and it was the best meal of the week - we loved it and can't wait to return.

The only other thing I can think of is to wait until a month or so before we leave and get someone who"s just taken our exact cruise. Its just so far away! :p

Thanks to everyone for taking pictures of every menu, what a great resource.

You can change reservations once booked but it will depend on availability on the day and time you want to change to. Some cruises seem to have open tables most evenings but at other times the restaurants are booked.
