The ferry from Quebec City to Levis?

Recommended Posts

When we are in Quebec for our cruise in October we planned on heading over to Levis as well. From what I've heard and if you enjoy beer it would probably be worth your while to check out Le Corsaire, it's a brewpub on the Levis side that according to goole mpas is no more than a 5 minute walk from the dock.

Here is a link to their websitem if you use google chrome it should prompt you to translate to english:

MaryAnn

How long a walk is it from the dock into Levis? Is the town worth it or should we should plan on riding over and back?

Lastly, how is the name pronouced? I presume Levy?

Levis is pronounced : Lay-vee

Have a nice trip ! Bon voyage!

Merci!

Bienvenue! ( a word that , like in English the word welcome, is used both as a reply to merci (thank you) and to say happy to have you here (the welcome as in welcome on board). Off topic, but just in case, since you will probably see some on a Canada NE cruise : in french a seal is called a "phoque" and that is pronounced exactly like the four letter F word.... In Alaska a few years ago, chatting with a french fellow passenger on the docks as we watched a seal play in the water ,it took us a while to figure out why we were getting these looks from other passengers, especially since my fellow passenger was a distinguished older lady. Maybe you can share that on your Cruise so less people go home thinking that french speaking people use bad language. ( we still laugh about it)
