Dolphin balconies on the Crown

Hi, We've booked a Dolphin deck mini-suite on the Crown and on the deck plans the balconies look bigger than other decks. We've heard their not covered and this doesn't bothered us but just wondered about the size. Thanks

Mini-suite balconies are larger (7'x9') than standard balconies (5'x9) and they are uncovered.

I'll add that Caribe deck balconies, just above Dolphin deck, are the largest regular cabin balconies onboard at 9' x 9'. Also, they're half covered so you can get out of the sun and still enjoy being outside.

:) We've been very happy with our Dolphin Mini-Suites on Crown. We have one booked for sister ship, Emerald, on our upcoming cruise in January ... Dolphin Deck, mid-ship mini suite.

It's plenty of room for two people!

Hi OCruisers,

Can you tell me whether the Mini suite on Dolphin deck on Crown is partially or fully uncovered? BF was on Grand 6years ago in a mini suite (he thought on Dolphin deck) and he seems to remember the balcony being partially covered.

Thanks for your time to reply!

Mini-suites on Dolphin deck on the Crown are not covered at all. There are some on the Emerald deck that are covered.

The Caribe deck balconies are partially covered but they are not mini-suites.

I appreciate the quick response, Mom33; as we are in the process of making the reservation tonight. BF must have been on Emerald back in '06 then.

Thanks,
