R-ships: staterooms across the elevator halls

We always find this the most convenient area to stay. For our Oceania trip, the elevators, stairs and a Butler station was pretty much right outside our door.

Noise was never a problem, although we didn't spend all that much time inside the cabin.

I haven't stayed there but twice we were opposite the laundry rooms, and we never heard a thing -- not even there were a dozen people chatting in the hallway while they were waiting for their laundry to finish. When I opened the door I thought I'd walked into a cocktail party, but in our room we never heard a thing.

So I'm sure elevators wouldn't be a problem.

We were on deck four on Regatta, just a few steps from the elevators and stairs. We never heard a sound; not only was it quiet, but convenient as well.

I agree with above..most people on CC know my favorite cabin on deck 8 and it is almost across from the elevators..
