caribbeansun Posted August 11, 2012 #26 Share Posted August 11, 2012 Your post seems to imply that I should not have mentioned the hot breakfast. The OP asked to be reminded of what the perks are and I added one that isn't printed in the brochure or mentioned on the web site. The OP may or may not place value on this item but they should at least know of it's existence don't you think? I will echo Mura this time. We never eat breakfast in our cabin. That perk is worth nothing to "us." It is indeed subjective.
Mura Posted August 11, 2012 #27 Share Posted August 11, 2012 I believe that Laraine was saying this perk is not important to her, not that you shouldn't mention it! We do use this benefit sometimes, usually on mornings when we have an early tour. And we appreciate having it at those times but as Laraine has said, the various perks are not important to everybody. Some people love having a butler, others don't use them at all. Certainly if passengers are entitled to having the hot breakfast in the room if they wish, they should know about it. Fleuve51 Posted August 12, 2012 Author #32 Share Posted August 12, 2012 Thanks to everyone for your help. Actually- Jim and Stan , Brian and I have met you on a few cruises. We were invited to your cocktail party in your fabulous suite. It was the marina inaugural sailing from Miami to San Fran . The captain and his wife were there too. I especially remember your fancy invitations- well done. Still think Oceania is one of the better lines, but we travel on many ships. We have booked a 2 week riviera leaving march4 th. Nice to hear from you! Eileen
