Princess experts please help..

My mom and I will be cruising the Panama Canal in 2013.

 

This has been a dream of hers. I have cruised with Princess twice, years ago, and liked it very much.

 

My question is this. When I book a cabin for a specific price, is there a form I use to submit if I see a lower fare, for the same category. The last time I booked it was through a TA, and I don't recall doing this.

 

On Carnival with ES you submit the form if you booked through them. If not, TA does it for you. Does Princess have a similar program?

All you need do is call Princess or your TA if you use one. No form is required.

Just keep watching the prices and if you see a lower one pick up the phone and ask to be refared.

As you can see, you can get a lower fare if you see one. Just ask. Curious, did you book directly through Princess or a travel agent? If you booked through Princess you can most likely find a travel agent who can get you a better price. Since you aren't sailing until 2013 you would have some time to check around.:)

I did this and saved over $1000 on an Alaska cruise. I check the site everyday when I have a cruise. It takes 30 seconds, and the payoff can be wonderful! Good luck! :)

I have not booked anything yet. I have not cruised Princess in awhile, and I am trying to decide the best accommodations. If the single supplement wasn't so crazy I would do two balconies. Since this is her dream, we may do a suite.

 

Can you tell me the difference between the Vista Suite and the PS. She likes to watch tv late in the night and I thought the curtain might help.

 

Can someone shed some light?

 

If we get a suite, then they may sell out, which is fine.

Be sure to check the prices of all levels of cabins that you'd like. We were able to upgrade from an inside to an obstructed view when the price dropped to be equal.
