Casino Rate cheaper then Early Saver!

I was helping my parents decided on their next cruise and under the rates section they have a rate listed as Casino Players Club and it is cheaper then the Early Saver rate. This rate does not show up in my profile. Does anyone know how to get that rate to show up in your profile?

When I first booked my cruise in March I booked ES at $749 for a balcony( just made it by 2 days before ES was no longer available) I was checking for price drops one day and saw the casino rate for $679 so I submitted the form and got $140 back for my cabin plus $75 casino cash.

I have received the casino cash vouchers in the mail before but it has never reflected a casino rate online. I guess I don't understand what I have to do to see that rate appear.

If you qualify, it will show up automatically.

I booked DD a balcony on Ecstasy for their honeymoon using this rate (putting me in there with her new DH - temporarily, of course! :p ). I don't "do" ES because I dont like the restrictions. Anyway, it stayed considerably less than any other rate.

But then we changed cruises and it wasn't available on the new ones. Checked those today when I saw a thread about new Casino VIP offer, but it isn't there.

Interesting. We had a Casino Rate appear when we were booked ES, and submitted a claim. It was denied and we were told you couldn't price match to the Casino rate. Doesn't matter now as we got a price drop that was much bigger a couple of weeks ago that scored us a bunch of OBC.

What you'd need to do to get that rate is to lose more money in the casino until you qualify. In other words, you'll spend more in the casino than you'll ever save by the cheaper cabin rate.

That said, if you are going to lose the money in the casino anyway, getting the discounted cabin is a nice consolation.

Its only offered on a few ships at a time.. maybe 5 cruises... so unless you are on one of those cruises, you would not see it.
