I think this is the most difficult one yet, I've been mulling it overnight .

I really think the Black Sea should be a two week cruise so Yalta could be included, and also overnight in Istanbul. The Med is an excellent itinerary but I have already voted for it once. As has been stated previously by others, the Caribbean is too far to go for a week. Though from Newcastle you can only go for two weeks anyway.

I'm going to go for Black Sea. Mainly because it's somewhere a little bit different and very interesting, I just feel it's missing someting not going to Yalta which was my favourite port.

I agree with everything you've said happy v. Like you I read it and couldn't commit - for exactly the same reasons although the caribbean itinerary is excellent - just not long enough for all the travel imo.

I think they've missed a trick with the Black Sea. Yalta was great also I think they could have included Odessa and as you suggest, an overnight in Istanbul which would go a long way to making the Black Sea a good two-weeker in it's own right with a couple of good Greek Island/Turkish resorts thrown in on the way up and down from Marmaris. Don't know about Cesme so it's a bit voting in the dark (have heard Constanta isn't fantastic - but would be happy to hear something to the contrary) but as an act of faith I'll go for the Black Sea option too.

Oops! Sorry folks - don't know how I managed that. Sometimes if it takes ages and times out I'm not sure whether to try posting again - but this wasn't such an occasion - have no recollection of posting twice! Another Senior Moment

P.S. Oh I can see now - I did a quote to add my P.S. on the original post instead of going into 'Edit'! Got to keep my ratings up somehow! :D

Would like them to bring back the two week Black Sea Odyssey as I think it was a great and interesting itinerary, plus can visit more ports in the Black Sea.

I'm practically doing their job for no money aren't I! ;) :D

I think it may have been me who said I couldn't remember much about Constanta. However I have trawled through our photographs and found 9 from Constanta 8 of them are of cranes !! very odd I know but there were 100s of them and my husband was most impressed, but there was one of the casino which was all it took to bring my memories back. It was a really lovely place not at all what I was expecting. Very wide streets with large imposing buildings. We didn't go on an excursion just walked around for hours.............we were lost really (well temporarily misplaced) but we found our way back eventually.

Sailaway I feel sure your efforts are very much appreciated. They are on here anyway.

They have test pilots ,so why not a test cruiser :D

Should you get the job and need any assistance do'nt forget us lot on here ;)

Thinking back to my holiday years ago at Sunny Beach we went to Nessebar for the day and had one hour of nice weather

followed by one hell of a thunderstorm .So it would be nice to revisit again in better weather .:)

I have voted for the Black Sea, due to the divergence of countries and cultures available in a 2 week holiday. I have been to Bulgaria and Roumania and Istanbul in the 70's and early 80's and would like to go back.

I have done the Med twice and loved it and would do it again but would rather go somewhere different first.

Strangely, I have no notion at all to go to the Caribbean as we are not beachy people. I have probably been put off by my sister who liked it least out of all of her cruises. I know there are others who love it and I may be tempted for some winter sun if I sell my timeshare in Tenerife :)

You too :D I am sure I have posted the same thing more than once, particularly on some of the long running threads. The time to worry is when you give a completely contrary reply the second time

I couldn't vote on this one.

Caribbean is a no-no for a week.

Black Sea is good, but not from Marmaris. (Bring back Thessaloniki as a departure port!)

Med- after several trips I wouldn't pick a cruise that had both Civi and Livorno in the same week.

So I'm abstaining- sorry!
