First off, all of these pictures have been fantastic. I feel like I am addicted to these threads. I am such a newbie - and find myself having a million questions or googling certain "Cruise terms"...This will be my FIRST cruise and I am overly excited and counting down. We are going June 23rd - celebrating finally graduating with my master's and a 30th birthday. We just found out that our balcony room number is 10784.

Can anyone point this room out in one of the pictures?

Thank you!

Package Details: An NCL spokesperson confirmed the line is testing an alcohol-inclusive drink package on select ships for $49 per person, per day. Several ships are testing it at different times, and details are not final. Cruise Critic members are reporting that a 15 percent gratuity is added to the total package price. Their reports indicate that the “Ultimate Beverage Package” includes all house, call and premium beverages at bars, lounges and restaurants, and on the line's private island; wine by the glass up to $10; bottled beer priced under $5.50 and draft up to 16 oz., fountain soda and juices.

Fine Print: Only one drink is allowed per passenger per order. All passengers sharing a cabin or using the same payment method (i.e., kids you stuck in the inside cabin across the hall) must purchase the beverage package. For kids two and up, that means buying the soda package instead. The package does not include room service, super and ultra premium brands, wine or liquor by bottle, minibar purchases, freshly squeezed juice, canned soda or energy drinks, specialty coffee or bottled water.

Well I have upgraded to the 14150. I was hesitant about booking this room, but after looking over the deckplans obessesly and going over the plans with my PCC it was determined that there will be little noise or none at all due to that being the entrance to go to the spa on the 15th floor. What's exactly over this room is a elevated deck.

I would not choose a room more forward to this one. But I'll be waiting for reviews to see if I need to switch. I definitely would not get a room on the starboard side on deck 14 due to the gym being directly above.

Oh yeah...PCC explained pool casino is more aft...

I meant previously that I wouldn't get a cabin more aft of 14150 on the 14th floor. I get turned around:rolleyes::D

no problem--- thanks ---I'll be glad when May 12th is here so I can stop making decisions and just board and relax ---:D:D:D

Is there a space between 12128 and 12130, looks like it on the deck plan. Also, why is 12122 orange, is it that much different than 12124, DH and I are in 12124. Thanks in advance for any help.

One is cat B4 and the other is B2. I betchas the orange one is bigger. Family Balconies are 204-366sq ft. So the one that's more expensive I would guess has the more sq footage. Here's another we won't know until the ship sails question.;)

And yes I see the space. Don't know what that is.....a closet?.

call NCL they will give you the rates----it's called the ultimate drink package I believe the rep told be 49.00/day per person and ALL occupants in cabin must purchace... sorry didn't keep the info -- I wanted a juice and bottled water package instead ...:)

I did the ULtimate Beverage Package on the Star in December and also in February. It was around $49.00 per day + 15% gratuity + sales tax.

If you have a cabin with kids, all kids have to have the soda package if the adults want the Ultimate Beverage Package.

I recommend you get all the different packages at the same time to avoid confusion.

A question.... do we need to buy tickets in advance for the evening shows. From reading some of the posts here, it seems that this is advised. On our previous 2 cruises (Norwegian and Princess), we just showed up and that was fine, no tickets needed. We're sailing in June. I also saw somewhere something about a tour of the ship. Annyone know anything about that? Thanks in advance for your advice. This board has been very helpful.

We haven't prebooked before but on the Epic we did on a day we knew we wouldn't be too exhausted from our port of call.

Now for the Breakaway I do plan on prebooking as soon as I can seeing as it is a new ship and not sure how quickly the shows will fill up.

I also read about a ship tour and would love to do that so if you find anything out let us know!
