Hi everyone, why can't I find out about the salt bath thing? They have a great self tanner polish thingy in the spa I am going to try out. I am in he spa mini suite and wonder if this is a free service and what is it? Any answers? any help? Thanks all

I saw it in the breakaway brochure I ordered from NLC. It looks great but it didn't have the info you wanted.

The pictures and excitement had me almost ready to book something on the Breakaway. However, I just can't get get use to the idea of taking a cruise and being tied up a dock for days. Any idea when the breakaway might begin a traditional schedule? I love being at sea and not at a dock.

After the Bermuda season, the Breakaway is doing 7 day Florida/Bahamas sailings beginning October 13, 2013 and then has a couple special 12 day Caribbean sailings in January 2014.

So the salt room isn't included with the spa balconies/minis/suites?? I booked my spa cabin to take advantage of those perks. I haven't found too much info on what's included with these spa cabins?

I was hoping for a rain shower in the spa balconies but I have a feeling it's only for spa suites. Anyone know?

I have been trying to locate my cabin window forward on deck 5 starboard, but haven't seen any photo's on this thread, unless I missed it...good photo of the portside, and aft on starboard, but not forward...did I miss it somewhere?

There were some earlier in the thread in the building, but deck five was obscured....

Gambee - Can you help us find cabin 10784 ... Will life boats block us at all? We just upgraded from an inside room, but now after reading some posts I am worried that we will be blocked.

Well it appears that you're in the same conundrum as the earlier poster. Please be aware that as already stated the Breakaway will have very few cabins that are not obstructed by something when looking downward. Now by no means does this mean that the you wont have a great view, it just means that direct view to the water making contact with the hull is going to be hard to accomplish.

That said it looks like your balcony is directly above the waterfront (it has an awning "roof") and right below that the is a nice big red life boat.

You could always reconsider chaining your location, but like I stated earlier unless you change to deck 8 fwd you wont find a clear view downward.

Also note that you have a very nice balcony that is larger than normal with an slanted view forward. If I was you I would keep that placement.

Happy sailings.

Well unfortunately that is the route that Breakaway is sailing, many hate it many love it. I used to hate it, now after some research I am on the fence about it, I will make my decision post sailing. I believe that the ship will change itineraries in winter heading south. You could always try Getaway later on when she set sail, her itineraries should be better.

IMHO You should have a great view, however, I wouldn't bring a fishing pole.j/k;)

Krystal I am in spa mini suite and it says it has rain shower head and body jets. I too want to know if the salt room is included. I think gambler said my room is under pool casino but I don't think their will be loungers right next to the casino area so hope I am ok. Just a reminder gambler I am in 14166 l

Damn auto check I said gambee lol what do you think gbee of my thoughts of the pool casino area? Thanks for your help

Hard call, really too early to tell. Another thing that I would factor in is that we don't know if they will place the casino tables in that exact place.

My only NCL cruise was on the Sky and there were chairs and tables very close to the casino tables.

Here is pic,

Now I am not sure that this is how it will be, but it might. Maybe other NCL travelers can chip in here.

Thank you for finding our room - I think we will be keeping it. Regardless, the balcony is still an upgrade for us from an inside room! I am sure we will see plenty of water. Will we be able to get two lounge chairs on the balcony?

I wish this trip was tomorrow!

Not sure, the balcony is larger, but maybe not enough for two lounges. Maybe one on the longer part of it.

I have a family balcony, sleeps 4, says sofa bed and "upper bed", picture looks like a full size sofa bed but I guess it isn't, what is an "upper bed"?

Picture does not look like there is one of those drop down bunks in the cabin.

You're docked in Bermuda for three days (Wed. thru Fri). The beauty of the trip is you get to explore an island that is quite expensive to stay on. Think of it as taking an all inclusive three day vacation in Bermuda. Something that doesn't really exist.
