Tottwo Posted August 26, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 26, 2012 Hi. My husband and I will be sailing on the Summit Thanksgiving week. The cruise leaves Puerto Rico on Saturday, November 17th. We're trying to plan when to eat in one of the specialty restaurant and don't want to book it on formal night. Does anyone know when the first formal night will be? We want to eat in the Normandie restuarant but I don't eat meat or fish. Does anyone know if they will accommodate a vegetarian meal? thanks so much in advance for your help! Hi:) the first formal night will be your 2nd night, Nov 18th. As for eating full vegetarian in Normandie? Go see the Maitr'd and speak with him. Let him know and I bet they will cook you something else.....are you a pasta eater? Something like a primavera dish? Do you eat cheese? They have a wonderful Capreze salad on the menu:D
dodger1964 Posted August 26, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 26, 2012 We're on same cruise. If they accidently serve u meat, just have them send it to my room!! Hope u have signed up for connections party. Roll call isn't too active, but I've found that holiday sailings tend to have more cruisers that might not know about these boards. Many new cruisers. C u in less than 3 months!!

Tottwo Posted August 26, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted August 26, 2012 Thank you Lois R - this helps a lot! I am a pasta eater, and I do love cheese so its sounds like I'll have no problem with vegetarian. .....and I'll go ahead and book for Monday or Tuesday. And I'll send any meat dishes to dodger1964's room! ;) I appreciate your help!
