Anyone been in Nassau on a Sunday?

I have only been to Nassau once before, and that was on a Saturday. The streets were packed with busy shoppers and tourists. We had a great day there.

This trip, we will only be in port for about 5 hours (on a Sunday). Has anyone else been in port on Sunday? Are all the shops still open? There's one jewelry store in particular that I'd like to go to if they are open. If shops don't open til noon (or whatever), I'll save that as my last stop before reboarding the ship.

It's been several years since we were there, but I think everything's closed on Sundays. We have been there on Palm Sunday and they did a march through the streets with palm branches. Been there on Easter Sunday, too, and everything was closed.
