Belle ~ very nice ditty!:D I'm not in for the next challenge as I'll be on a 14 day cruise in 3 weeks so there's no way I'll be losing especially since I read that the ship's getting lots of fresh lobster at the Portland stop!;) I was up 1 lb since last week. DH said I must be feeling better! I've lost over 8 lbs since my surgery at the end of May. Glad to be one of the "goodest". It is not a spectacular loss, but at least I am going in the right direction and I will be happy if I can continue to do this. Belle - I like your new challenge. We do not celebrate Thanksgiving in the UK, but I know it is an important holiday for you in the US and I have put the date in my diary. Count me in! Jo...Maybe say you'll try to stay the same. Keep your loss off. I'm glad your feeling better. Trina..Yes any loss is a loss. 1lb a week is good. I'll trade with you, you come here for Thanksgiving and I'll go to the UK. Well I didn't weigh this morning. Was off and running. My mother has been in the hospital for a week. Got out today. Going thru stress big time. Was hoping to take a day off after 8 days but no. Visiting nurse tomorrow. Alright everyone who is missing COME ON IN...WE DON'T YELL OR BITE! Stop your crying or I will give you something to cry about. Wear clean underwear in case you get hit by a car and have to go to the hospital. Clean your plate..there's starving children in.. (what every country they picked) Good things they said.... Say Thank You and Your Welcome. You always say Mr. Mrs. ..never call them by their first name. (Do any young people do that any more?) Jo - Lobster is very healthy and doesn't have a lot of calories .... just watch the butter. Belle - I will be in for the next challange - I will continue to post. Rose - don't think of yourself as a failure, you could have been up more than just 2#. Belle - think we had the same parents!!:) Hope you are doing ok, and that things are becoming more "normal". We need to give ideas, tips, ask questions. We need to help each other. I'm not doing well with my stress but trying. Like today not feeling well, trying not to eat to many carbs. Why do crackers, bread taste/do better when your sick? Main tip that I can give is.. if you can have food prepared ahead. So you don't grab the first thing available. Which is usually a "sweet"! forbjz Posted September 11, 2012 #13 Share Posted September 11, 2012 Ooooo! I was so bad. Those cake and I went several rounds and they won. I am now 157. Up 2.5 from last week. Up 3 for the challenge. I can tell you that every one of those 8 pieces of cake were delicious. Those ladies bake some mean cakes! The hardest part was working the booth and seeing/hearing how good such and such cake was. That is where 6 of the pieces of cake came from. Time to buckle down and get back in gear!
