Will the Ryder Cup be shown onboard?

We are sailing on Silhouette on 29th September and DH is hoping the Ryder Cup will be screened onboard. Is this likely?

Good question - i was wondering if the Presidential debates would be broadcast on the Millennium. I know Princess broadcast the Super Bowl on their movie screen, but that was a special one time feed. I suspect it depends on their network agreements. My last RCCL cruise only had a FOX and CNN HLN news feed.

I would think there is a much better chance of seeing the presidential debates than the Ryder Cup.

Two years ago on Eclipse, the Ryder cup was shown in one of the bars near the casino. This was only after a huge number of requests from passengers to guest relations. In turn guest relations had to get permission from Miami to broadcast the golf.

I forget the network's name but I believe it was a Dubai based broadcaster, it was in English with UK commentators like Dougie Donnelly and Renton Laidlaw. Even better there were no commercial breaks

You would be a bit late on 29th September as Europe are just about to retain the Ryder Cup on 28th September !!!

Oh wow...it is 2 years old.....and right now The Ryder Cup is on NBC and

we are being wacked:eek:........looks like Europe will be keeping the Cup

(again).........this tournament is held every 2 years.
