Rare Gail & Marty sailing away Posted September 10, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 10, 2012 which is the best way to get to a Holland ship in port Everglades from the Miami airport we get in at 11:15 Thanks .
miamiyogi Posted September 10, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 10, 2012 Shared shuttle from the airport vendor would be $65 for two. Taxi would be $85+/- up to five (and sometimes 6 or 7) ride for that price.
JohninDC Posted September 10, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 10, 2012 Are you arriving at MIA at 11:15 and catching a HAL ship that day from Port Everglades? It will be closer to noon by the time you have your bags and are out of MIA -- hopefully your flight is not delayed by weather or mechanical issues! The smart cruiser ALWAYS flies in at least one day early to avoid missing the ship. ;) Take the cab and get to PE as early as you can - good luck! :)
miamiyogi Posted September 10, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 10, 2012 While you should fly in the night before this poster is from Jacksonville, there's an hourly flight from JAX to MIA.

JohninDC Posted September 10, 2012 #6 Share Posted September 10, 2012 Any shuttles there? . From MIA to Port Everglades? Try Quality Limo Service (QLS) or Go Airport Shuttle -- both are FLL based shuttle services and will charge you about $30-35 per passenger for the 40+ minute trip. If you had more time you could save $$ by renting a car one-way from MIA to FLL. Good luck! :)
Rare Keith1010 Posted September 11, 2012 #7 Share Posted September 11, 2012 Remember you need to board the ship 90 minutes before departure. So, if things get tight just take a taxi. I still would have flown in the day before. There is always risk even if you are flying from within the state. Keith

miamiyogi Posted September 11, 2012 #9 Share Posted September 11, 2012 Any shuttles there? . Don't screw around...just use the airport vendor American Shuttle. You must be there one hour prior to posted departure time.
