we have booked a TA for 4-'13 that only has 2 stops and ends in spain, after more thought we would like another that ends up in southhamton(took a spain ta 2 yrs. ago) how difficult is this-we have future credit and agent obc etc. involved in this....

That's really up to the agent, as far as RCI goes it's easy, as you are outside the penalty phase.

Should be no problem at all. Just call and have your booking number transferred to the other cruise. Never cancel and rebook as you loose your OBC that way!

Agree DO NOT CANCEL--transfer your original booking number to the new cruise. We did this and kept the original booking number, date and perks.

we used our next cruise cert. last year ,booked our cruise with our ta and then decided to switch our cruise we got to keep obc as long as we kept same booking # so i don`t think you should have any problem .

Only 2 ports on a TA? That's REALLY not very many.

I had to switch my current cruise 2 times (work conflicts, and then a better price for 2 more days on the itinerary). Not only were we able to keep our OBC, but we actually got more when we changed to a 7 day because our original booking was done on board. It's definitely something that can be done.

if anyone is still reading this....we switched with our t-agent...no prob.they waived the fee(1 time) and rebooked, after signing waivers etc. it was quite painless, kept perks :o

If your TA is ever charging a cancel fee or change fee it's time to look for a new TA....even if you change sailings more than one time.

Just did it the other night. As long as it is not after final payment
