For the Eastern European cruises....

Spain and Greece are considered South Europe,

 

Eastern Europe is Poland, Russia and more of those countries.

 

 

I think we can excuse the orginal poster as he is not European and especially since the Celebrity cruises to Greece are listed as "Eastern Mediterranean".

As a European and frequent cruiser there you would he extremely unlucky to run into any trouble. A booked tour would normally be able to bypass any protest. Such protests are sporadic and usually in capital cities like Madrid.

Don't worry about Europe..it's the recession and some people are feeling the effects of governments reining in public spending.

Cruisers are shielded from these things and ships give sound advice.

Come to Europe you will not regret it!
