A Note on Table for Two Requests

Good to know! as we just got off our cruise yesterday and were UNSUCESSFUL in obtaining a table for two.....despite what everyone has been reporting on CC.

AND despite being in a suite, being invited guests of the casino dept......and despite standing in that "help me I need a table assignment change" line for over 30 minutes instead of being able to enjoy our trip from the time that we boarded!

Ok....so I was a "bit" miffed at having to sit with a large group as DH and I do not have that many opps to spend time with just the two of us...but the tablemates were nice...and I will try the e mail thing next time!

Thanks again for the info! Of course now that a LOT of people know how to do this.....do you think that it will carry less weight? Hope not!

I think a lot of people already know about this since I got the info from the CC message boards on how to email the ship...LOL. But there's always hope!

Thanks for the info... I emailed the pride last nite and rec'd a response this morning

All it said was "ok". "Kind regards" and his name

I did put our booking number and cabin number along with the date' date=' and our request for early seating table for 2.

I was excited because we were wait listed for early dining[/quote']

I received a response as well. Mine simply said they would see me on the cruise. I am not planning on it as we will be happy with whatever seating we get. I think it says something that even a simple response is sent in acknowledgement. The staff is busy and to even take the few seconds to acknowledge is nice.

Couldn't you have switched to anytime dining and gotten a table for two?

I could be wrong so someone will correct me if I am but I believe the tables are attached to the floor. Three inches apart is just how it is with some of these tables. My husband and I had a table for two with another couple three inches from us. Pretty normal.

Not the case here. The tables were moved apart right in front of us. This was on the Victory cruise last Nov.

I was wondering the same thing. If you choose any time dining on your next cruise, you won't have to worry about trying to get your table assignment changed. You can get a table for 2 every night without any hassle.
