Mum81, you have bragged about getting OBC when you complained because they advertised that there were mini bars on the Spirit???? Will you now ring them & demand they remove this OBC as there is a mini bar in each stateroom & it does contain alcoholic beverages.

Seems like the Spirit is not for you, there may be something onboard that you don't like:)

We just got off the Rhapsody ,and the mini bar was full with water and soft drink ,but you had to pay for it ,and if you drank out of it.They would restock it the next day .

Apart from Princess, does anyone know which other lines allow passengers to bring on their own wine for sail away drinks.

Drink Aussie beer??? I don't think so -- not if I can get almost anything else, although IF the cruiseships stocked James Squire beers on tap then I would have no need to look elsewhere. Then again, James Squire beers are NOTHING like normal Aussie beers. As for those low strength Aussie beers that seem to be all the go these days -- they remind me of the joke, "what is the similarity between those type of beers and Pocohontas with John Smith in a canoe???" :D
