Help with elegant casual

i've got formal, semi for me down; DH has all.

Now I know casual and business casual, but can't figure what to pack for myself for elegant casual!

I treat elegant casual the same as semi formal.

I usually wear black trousers and a nice top or a smart dress. Heels or flats. Not much different from business casual for me except maybe slightly sparkly accessories.

So do we. The difference for men is just a tie, and DH prefers to wear a tie if he's wearing a jacket.

I am planning on Two nights of black trousers with different tops and two nights jersey maxi dresses for our forthcoming trip. Reading on here about making the EC the same as a semi formal makes sense though.......For women I think most things go

Most of my clothes are "business" so I guess I'll have to do some shopping for a top or 2 for the pants!

We're the same, treat them as semi formal. I don't need an excuse to dress up;)
