Scotspea Posted October 23, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 23, 2012 Silver Galapagos http://www.silversea.com/media-centre/press-releases/?pressrelease=15117 I don't particularly like the name. Incredible, imaginative and just what we have come to expect from the management of SS. It's a pity as they seemed to have broken out of their mediocre shackles and were showing some flair. Rare RachelG Posted October 23, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2012 Not very creative or exciting, but I guess it could be worse.
Rare Keith1010 Posted October 23, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 23, 2012 Thanks for posting. I wonder how long it took them to figure out that name. No, not what I would call creative. Keith
Stumblefoot Posted October 23, 2012 #6 Share Posted October 23, 2012 Silver GalapagosThat's a mouthful like the name of actor Zach Galifianakis is. One thing is for sure... it's pretty clear what waters this ship will ply.
NJ Cruiserman Posted October 23, 2012 #7 Share Posted October 23, 2012 Thanks for posting. I wonder how long it took them to figure out that name. No, not what I would call creative. Keith Although the name doesn't roll off the tongue, I'll be on board the Shadow in late November and will now looking forward to booking a cruise on the Silver G with my on-board discount. Rare WesW Posted October 24, 2012 #8 Share Posted October 24, 2012 Thanks Craig for sharing. Travel weekly's release (tho much shorter than SS release) on the Silver Galapagos is: http://www.travelweekly.com/Cruise-Travel/Silversea-reveals-name-of-second-Expedition-ship/

Seafairer Posted October 24, 2012 #10 Share Posted October 24, 2012 Harrumph. I would have named it the Silver Adventurer, Silver Expedition, Silver Voyager. Let's just hope that it doesn't become known more colloquially as the Silver Footed Boobie!
