Brooklyn hotel suggestion with cruise parking?

The closest park/sleep to Brookyn is the Hampton Inn and Hilton Garden on Staten Island. You have to pay for a car service to Red Hook but you can leave your car at these hotels for free for the duration of your cruise.

It looks like you are leaving this week - are you looking for last minute hurricane plans?

Yep. I wish princess would have mentioned that the port parking is in a flood zone earlier in the week. Guess they weren't thinking along those lines when they were planning the facility.

Thanks for your recommendation.

If you park in Staten Island, you need to cross the Verrazano Bridge into Brooklyn. If the winds go over 35mph the mayor announced the bridges will be closed. I'm not sure of the date of your travels, but Monday is the day they are saying the storm is going to hit NYC.
