Was he a film star or just tall?

Thanks to everybody for their suggestions but not found who he was yet, thought there would have been more posts from fellow cruisers on the same ship. He definitely wasn't Lurch but it may have been a film called Big Fish that he was in, I am sure there was a rally tall guy in that. Wish I had taken a photo.

I just visited the IMDB website and looked up Big Fish - there was a guy = 7'6" Matthew McGrory but he died in 2005.

I recognize you; I'm sure that you don't announce your work, cause you usually play bad guys, as I recall!;) What a fun career! I have a former roommate is a character actor and its always great fun seeing him in a tv ad unexpectedly. He did a PSA playing an abusive husband, and I thought " what great acting, nothing could be farther from the truth!"

 

OP hope you find your " star" most actors are short ( to fit with the teeny weeny actresses in the camera shot) so more likely a sports star.

 

Yes I usually play mafia guys or other "bad guys" lol I have even played a cannibal:D
