I read that we have to walk across one small bridge from the airport bus stop. Do we have to negotiate stairs? Thanks.

yes there are stairs.

the bridge consists of about 6 stone steps up to a flat top then steps down again-most bridges in Venice are like this

 

our friends had a room on the ground floor

I dont think the hotel had a lift-you would need to negotiate stairs in the hotel if on an upper floor although the staff would probably help with your luggage

The main building does have an elevator, althought it's very small. When we stayed there in October, the bellhop took the luggage up the stairs to the room and we used the elevator. I think the annex in the back of the garden doesn't have an elevator.

This is the only bridge you would need to cross. As someone mentioned it is about six steps on either end.

A small bridge so I heard and they do have an elevator

yes I asked the Hotel about the elevator and yes they do have one and somewhere I read thee is one small bridge

The hotel has the smallest lift I've ever been in. My daughters thought it was hilarious. It's a lovely hotel and well located for sight seeing.
