Will I have enough time to catch the plane?

Recommended Posts

Last year we caught a plane at 9. We were warned there is an issue with fog in tampa and often they don't arrive on time because if they can't see the skybridge they wait for the fog to lift. The ship only clears the skybridge by 6 inches and that is in the middle, they must be precise.

Jewel of the Seas has an air draft of less than 175 feet, the Skyway bridge has a max clearance of around 190 feet.

The fog delays are real. We boarded late last February because she didn't arrive at the dock until well after noon. Other than that your flight time should be fine.

The last time I sailed out of Tampa, the ship didn't start boarding until 4:30 due to fog delay. We did get a $20/pp OBC which they said was to cover our lunch costs.
