Full body scanner and the Christmas sweater

I was wearing a sweater with silver metallic threads thru it and as a result I showed up on the scanner with multiple "anomalies" and was subject to the "thorough" pat down. Not nearly as fun as it sounds. This was last night at Ft Myers Fl airport. So as the season approaches just a word to the wise about wearing those sparkly Christmas sweaters to the airport.:eek:

Good idea. Hadn't though about a jazzy sweather, but you are correct.

Incidentally, I went through a body scanner this morning at SFO and realized afterward that I had a hotel key card in my back jeans pocket. Apparently it didn't show up, which is odd because they usually make a big production of telling you to empty your pockets completely because it will show everything.
