Does someone have the menu related to PG as le Cirque

Once per cruise, the Pinnacle Grill is transformed into the legendary Le Cirque of New York City. Ranked among the best restaurants in the world by food experts, and famous for its celebrity clientele, Le Cirque brings its French Continental Cuisine to Holland America Line.

As per the title does someone have an insight into what is on the menu for this night considering it is $39PP rather than the normal $25PP.

Information is greatly appreciated.

I found it once by doing a search ... sorry I can't find the same link but I just booked it for my cruise in 2 wks.

$39 isn't that much for a nice dinner out, esp here in NY at the original Le Cirque. If I can do a tasting on HAL for a fraction of the cost at the restaurant count me in!

This is from an older thread. Thanks KK.

Newest Le Cirque menu on all ships (however many of us are trying to book it for cruises in 2012 and one person called and said that "They are discussing it":

New Le Cirque Menu:

Appetizers:

Lobster Cocktail - poached lobster with haricot vert and citrus

Le Trio - caviar, smoked salmon and Pate foie gras

Caesar Salad - interpretation of the classical salad

Soup:

Butternut Squash with Huckleberries - with sage chantilly

Chilled Yogurt and Mellon - with shrimps

Main Courses:

Seared Seabass - leek, red wine fondue -- I understad that Cod has replaced the Seabass -- I was not surprised to see that the Seabass was replaced as it is very expensive and their numbers keep dwindling.

Rack of Lamb - goat cheese panisse, artichokes and arugula

Chateaubriand - horseradish flan, sweet and sour baby beets

Three Cheese Ravioli - fresh basil tomato

Chicken Under a Brick - sauteed vegetables ginger honey jus

Side Dshes:

Seasonal Vegetables

Pommes Dauphne

Dessert:

Creme Brulee Le Cirque

Chocolate Souffle - traditional chocolate souffle with vanilla gelato

Napoleon with Fresh Berries

Assortment of Sorbets

Since Le Cirque started -- we have done it quite a few time and have always enjoyed it.

Bookings are now open for 2013.

The price is $39 per person.

There is a wine pairing -- $20 extra per person. We tried the wine pairing the first time we did Le Cirque - we were not impressed with it. Barely 3 - 4 ounces of 3 different wines -- first one was a champagne.

We now either stay with cocktails or order a bottle of good wine.

Most everyone gets the Chateaubriand which is excellent. I've tried the Cod, it is outstanding and because I get pasta deprive on shipboard (Canaletto just doesn't do it) I have tried the Three Cheese Ravioli and it is wonderful. I don't think you can go wrong on eating in the Pinnacle on Le Cirque night.

We enjoyed Le Cirque on the Oosterdam earlier this year, and would do it again. But we will not be doing the wine pairing.

From the previous quote from KK:

"New Le Cirque Menu:

Caesar Salad - interpretation of the classical salad"

I thought I'd read on a recent post that only the Lobster appetizer was offered now, not the other two. Can any recent diners confirm that? I hope they are all still available.

Thank you, Penny
