In Singapore the ship almost dock in the downtown core . My sister told me that transit is very good. She also mentioned that all cruise ports a rapid transit line from downtown.

I understand that the Diamond docks at the container port 30 minutes away.

A new cruise terminal opened up this year downtown in the marina area. Princess docks there now.

Just off the Diamond where we docked in the container port. THE shuttle was free and ran every 30 minutes.

Still confused, new port or container port? If container, where do they drop you off. If new port, is it adjacent to transportation?

We were on the Diamond last month and we docked at the new Terminal near Marina Bay,they do offer a free shuttle as previously stated which drops you off at Bay Front MRT station which is right next door to the Marina Bay sands resort.
