Kamloops50 Posted December 10, 2012 #7 Share Posted December 10, 2012 Great photos , thanks for sharing ..:). Looks like those Solar Panels are new , didn't notice them last week when we were on board . They aren't solar panels. That is glass on the moving roof for the mid ship pool. The glass is similar in look to solar cells.
cjm66 Posted December 10, 2012 #8 Share Posted December 10, 2012 (edited) Solar panels? Your not talking about the sliding glass roof over the pool? Btw- what is she in dry dock for anyone? Repair and maintenance to the Azipods - a combination of propulsion motor, main propeller, rudder and stern thruster in one. Recent problems in Alaska prompted this I gather. Carpets in public areas and suites will be renewed and some soft furnishings, upholstery etc will be refurbished. The hull will be cleaned, polished and repainted to improve speed through the water. Plus general titivation, spit and polishing. Information gathered on ship's tour three weeks ago. Australian family Posted December 10, 2012 #12 Share Posted December 10, 2012 Great photos Sutho. Wonder if they are trimming a metre of the top so that she will fit under the harbour bridge.:D
