Anyone have a favorite HD on Norwegian Cruise Line

We loved Prem, but think that Hugo made us feel so welcome and like family. We continue to stay in touch with him. What a wonderful and thoughtful man!

Was just curious if anyone had a favorite HD and crew and staff on any NCL ship?

 

Sean and Hugo. And I am a big fan of Captain Lars. He rocks! (:D not the boat ha ha!)

The crew on all NCL ships (that I have cruised on) is great!

My favorite.....Hugo (Vanosmael)--and the crew of the Jewel !!!!

 

Yes Hugo!!!! We were lucky enough to dine with him one evenings. Such a nice and well spoken man.

Must be an NCL policy as we also felt he had at least 10 clones. We think the happy crew is definitely a reflection of it's management.

Absolutely agree, Sean deserves the recognition. Also, on the Star, our Room Steward, Aslie, was also outstanding. Kudos to the Star....... :D

Hugo is the best presently as hd, but klaus might be the best ever.

I have sailed on various lines-but only on NCL is the HD that visible that one can talk about the position--I sailed with Klaus a few times over the years --and he amazingly can make you feel important and like part of the family.

So Klaus gets my vote even though he is involved on the Corporate level at this time

Hugo is the best HD I needed a stool for my GS by the time the M&M meeting was over presto the stool was in the bathroom when we returned. He was always visible & pleasant around the ship.

Many pay close attention. The HD onboard can make a huge difference in everyones cruise. The best live by happy crew, happy ship, happy guests. I plan my cruises by who the HD is when ever possible.

Really? I guess I've never worried about it as I've always had pretty good service on NCL regardless. It surprises me that you would plan accordingly. Anyway, good luck and Merry Christmas!

I am another one who plans cruises based on which staff is on board, not just the HD. I have had several cruises because a certain Captain, Staff Captain and Cruise Director were all on the same ship at the same time.

Oh yes we schedule our cruises based on HD schedule. As a matter of fact my back 2 back cruises were made in accordance with their schedule
