celebrating birthday on Princess Coral

I was thinking of celebrating a birthday for one of our party when we are on the Princess Coral because it falls within the 45 days after the cruise as specified.

 

What exactly do they do to celebrate a birthday?

Actually, not only do they sing, they enlist people from the surrounding tables to join in.

You can ask your waiter to not have the singing occur.

I had a birthday recently on the Coral, and DW told the room steward who immediately decorated the door. We did not mention it in the MDR, so no singing or cake. That was my choice.
