Wow that was an amazing video! And looked like an amazing cruise. This is putting ideas into my head (not so good :D).

I loved the shots with the crew and their family.

Can you tell how you made those pieces with the globe thingy and the red dots linking? I love that, I would like to know how to do that.....

Thankyou - all the above wows describe it very well - it goes on my list to keep.

I sailed the whits/lizard for 2 years and found Singapore shots memorable.

Loved the heli soundover at Da-Nang:D

What s/ware do you use for editing - espthe chart shots.

only one minor beef - would have loved to see little more of the internals to compare with the Zaandam video I utubed last year

Thanks again:)

Hi there,

I did film a lot of the internals but sadly after 27 days of filming, I had to get the best bits in to keep it to youtubes 15 min. allowance

Have a look at the Melb to Sydney section:

Cruise the Tasman Sea & Bass Strait from Melbourne to Sydney via Burnie & Hobart in Tasmania on this 6 day portion of our trip to Hong Kong.

Spectacular dawn sailing into Sydney Harbour!

Regarding the heli, the sfx was included in sound effects via Final Cut X as was the world globe & locations. I believe it is also on iMovie

Regards

Thoroughly enjoyed watching all of your cruise video’s on a dreary and dark Saturday in Holland. You gave us a lot of ideas, during your truly wonderful video’s. Would you mind sharing which camera you are using and if you are using any sort of tripod?
