Are we allowed to offer gear for sale?

I have three camera bags and a lens I want to sell so I can buy a new lens.

 

Is that allowed on here?

Not sure. However, this site http://www.the-digital-picture.com/ has a fairly active mart for mostly Canon equipment.

This site would not be a good place to sell on (even if you could).

Need to use something with many Buyers...eBay or CraigsList.

Good places in my personal rank order

1) CL: local, cash, no overhead, just be sure to meet and do transaction in public place. Might also be good to use anonymous email

2) Fredmirranda: downside it costs money and you need to likely use paypal which takes a cut

3) ebay: huge exposure but between paypal and listing fees you don't get as much, but that is what exposure gets you.
