Redtravel Posted January 18, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2013 Should I bring my own Hairdryer? or is there a decent one in the cabin? Not having used L'occitane shampoo/conditioner, I would appreciate opinions from people who have used them. Are they okay for color treated hair? PirateWife Posted January 18, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2013 The hair dryer works fine but remember that there is wind and occasional rain every day. There is no such thing as a good hair day. My husband used the shampoos and loved them. I didn't want to risk them on my colored hair, so I brought my own.
ducklite Posted January 19, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 19, 2013 The hairdryer was fine, I can't recall how powerful but it worked as well as my dryer at home. I did miss my ionizer, but not enough to lug a bulky ionizing dryer with me. I used the shampoo and conditioner on my very dry, color treated hair. At the end of two weeks it felt a touch dryer than usual, but I think that was more a result of washing it everyday and sometimes twice in a day more than the shampoo. It would have been equally dry even with my regular shampoo and conditioner. (I normally only wash my hair ~five times a week.)
Redtravel Posted February 3, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted February 3, 2013 I brought my own shampoo/conditioner. One day by mistake I used the L occitane shampoo and found it was great. Works nicely on color treated hair. Try it. It will not fade your hair. The shower gel/soap have a nice lemon scent.
