OBC vouchers

If you call your TA or Princess, they should be able to tell you how much you have. You can sign into Princess.com and see what OBC have been applied to your booking(s) as well. In My Princess, just click on View Details of your Circle Savings Account and scroll down to the Account Summary. It's not always 100% clear there, though, as if the 2nd person in your cabin has OBC as well, that won't show there - just yours will.

I've never heard of an OBC "voucher." It's either applied to your booking or it isn't. Every TA I've used has sent me a booking confirmation that lists the OBC and amount so I have a record of it. Make sure your TA sends you a booking confirmation listing each of the specifics, including government fees and taxes, insurance, deposit paid, total amount due, OBC and other perks. Each should be broken out as a line item so it's easy to read and understand.

FYI, OBC from your TA or stockholder OBC will not be listed in your Cruise Personalizer. Your TA will need to confirm them.

I'll bet they are talking about a coupon book from Princess with $$ off on items on board. I've not found them very useful in the past but you may find the odd item you want.

Sounds right. For our way of doing things, those are worthless.

If it is really OBC (On Board Credit), it should be listed as such on your confirmation sheet from the travel agent.

OBC is not in the form of vouchers, but is a credit that is posted to your onboard account. The credit may be on one of the cabin accounts or divided in some fashion between them. Any onboard charges will be subtracted from this credit until the credit is all used up and then you will start oweing Princess money.

A day or two into the voyage, you should stop by the Purser's Desk and ask for a printout of your account to verify the OBC is listed there. Bring any hard copy evidence of the OBC with you on the cruise just in case it does not make it to your on board account.

The exception to the above is if the OBC is for a specific purpose such as the casino, a specialty restaurant, a bottle of wine, or the spa. In that case there will be a voucher in the cabin with instructions of how to redeem.
