Merc85 Posted February 3, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2013 We are considering a NZ/Australia cruisetour on the Solstice, but am wondering what exactly in practice this policy on Celebrity's website means? "There is a non-smoking policy on all components of the land tour portion of all Celebrity Cruises cruisetour products. We appreciate your understanding and adherence." Thanks. midwestchick Posted February 3, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2013 I believe that means that you are not allowed to smoke on any buses, vans or taxis that are being used on your tour. That's how it was on Azamara but people could smoke on land. I also saw smoking in the outdoor restaurants that were part of our shore excursions. CHEZMARYLOU Posted February 3, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 3, 2013 It is non smoking on all parts of the tour when you are with other members on the tour. If you are outside you can leave the group for a smoke if the venue permits smoking outdoors. You also have to abide by the rules of the restaurants, hotels, sites visited, etc. Mary Lou
Rare MicCanberra Posted February 3, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 3, 2013 In Australia, you cannot smoke in the Restuarants and must be outside. There are usually designated areas outside the shopping centres, restuarants etc (with ashtrays) for smoking.:D
