Alaska NB Sailings: Formal nights?

Hi all,

 

I am trying to work out, by looking at various reviews etc, if the formal nights on the 7 night NB sailings out of Vancouver on Radiance are generally always held on the same night of the cruise.

 

Travelling from Australia, and including a stay in LA for a while, I want to avoid packing formal clothes, and want to book a speciality restaurant for the formal nights. Dont want to leave it till it is too late and we dont get a booking.

 

Can anyone with any prior experience let me know?

Pretty sure from the various compasses I've seen they are on nights 2 and 6.

Yes--we were on the Radiance in September-- nights 2 and 6.

Thank you! Our sailing has specialty restaurants open now so I was looking for this info too!

We also did specialty restaurants on formal nights

 

But our Alaska Radiance cruise last year had the least amount of formal attire of any RCCL cruise I have been on

 

Alot of people I guess dress down for Alaska
