You might want to post this on the NORTH AMERICAN HOME PORtS boards, look for East Coast Departures. :)
SissasMomE Posted March 7, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 7, 2013 I'm leaving on the epic Saturday and were parking at the port of Miami do you pay upfront for parking or after cruise? If I remember correctly, you get a ticket when you enter, and you pay when you leave.

kpif83 Posted March 8, 2013 #5 Share Posted March 8, 2013 I've never parked at the port of Miami, too expensive. I've always parked at Premier Parking in Miami. It's only a couple of miles away and it's a fraction of the price. The have a shuttle to get you too and from the port.

Are you eligible for and have proof for handicap parking privileges? If so, parking is free.
pinkdiamond13 Posted March 13, 2013 #7 Share Posted March 13, 2013 We parked at embassy suites and then took a cab to the port. The best idea ever!
DGP1111 Posted March 13, 2013 #8 Share Posted March 13, 2013 (edited) I'm leaving on the epic Saturday and were parking at the port of Miami do you pay upfront for parking or after cruise? You will collect the dated entrance ticket prior to the cruise, and then do payment on debarkation day. There is a kiosk inside the parking garage (ground floor) where you can pay the ticket that morning, and then go through the far right exit gate for only those who've pre-paid of have passes . . . while the other two lanes are full of those making payment at the booth. Enjoy your cruise!! :) . Edited March 13, 2013 by DGP1111
Carnac767 Posted March 13, 2013 #9 Share Posted March 13, 2013 We use Premier Cruise parking. It's 1.1 miles from the port, has a covered parking garage, and provides a free shuttle to and from the terminal. It's only seven dollars a day. You can get more info at http://www.premiercruiseparking.com
BaseballMomof4 Posted March 13, 2013 #10 Share Posted March 13, 2013 I never park at the port. You can park for 1/2 the price in a parking garage a mile away that shuttles you. The only negative is that post cruise you sometimes wait a bit for a shuttle but other than that it is totally worth it.

aliceison Posted September 26, 2014 #13 Share Posted September 26, 2014 This is a couple years old post, wondering if still valid: Handicap license plate gets Free Parking at the port itself? Where can I find that on the NCL website?

Where can I find that on the NCL website? You need to search the port of Miami web site, and I believe this is no longer true at POM - policy changed several months ago. :(
