youwash Posted March 17, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2013 On Reflection, does anyone have first-hand knowledge about rooms 1644 and 1646. Are these doors side-by-side in the little alcove? Since we can't get connecting we were trying to get the doors as close as possible for poppinng next door. Don't know if there is any way to tell. Christine Frances Posted March 17, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2013 I don't think the Reflection has those little alcoves. I think the doors are flush with the hall. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
warmwinds Posted March 17, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2013 What "little alcove"? They look like they are simply rooms next to each other along the corridor. Do the S-class ships have alcoves every 2 rooms?

Haven't been on Reflection, per se, but on all the S-Class ships, they are built in modules of 2 cabins. 1644 and 1646 are a module. 1646 will have the bed by the bath, and right next door, 1644 with the bed by the balcony. Additionally, you can connect by opening up the balcony partition between the two balconies.

warmwinds Posted March 17, 2013 #6 Share Posted March 17, 2013 How nice is that. I know on the M class the 2 FV's on each corner had that same type of privacy. I bet it reduces any noise from passersby?
gek Posted March 17, 2013 #7 Share Posted March 17, 2013 Having two cabins sharing the same entrance alcove is convenient, but opening up the balcony partition is almost as good. Almost as good as connecting cabins in my experience. Better in some ways too.
