We are cruising on the Nieu Amsterdam and have selected stateroom 5105. Anyone know if the baconies are very small on the Ve deck. Its in the middle of the ship, which we like. We like to spend a lot of time on the balcony and last time we were on this ship was in a VA category on the Rotterdam deck.

However, it was not in the middle of the ship. Anyone been in 5105

Actually they took vjblk's advice and went over to the HAL board.

The verandahs on deck 5 are shallower (not as deep) as the verandahs on other decks, and midship you'll be right above the roof of a lifeboat. Personally I don't like the VEs and would never book one - for the 2 reasons I mentioned.
