Since you are on a HAL ship (but don't tell us which one) you should go to the HAL roll calls at http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=86 and find the forum for your ship. But is OP on a HAL cruise? The date given was May 9. Aren't all HAL ships out of the Caribbean by then?

Her first post ever, on the "Need Help Using ..." forum said "Looking for 4 passengers on Holland America May 1 Panama Canal cruise ..." but didn't name the ship. I think it's the Amsterdam, on its way to Vancouver. On May 9 it is in Corinto.
