look at a map ... it's 240 miles EACH way. About a 5 hr drive. You could drive to the park and back as a day trip but you wouldn't have time to go IN the park for a bus trip to enjoy the scenery and wildlife.

There are sightseeing flights to Denali from Anchorage. Look at rusts flying service. Or you can drive to Talkeetna (about 2 1/2 hrs each way) where Denali flightseeing is very popular. Talkeetna is much closer to the mountain so more time can be spent flying around and even landing on the mountain since you're not flying all the way from Anc.
