eboon Posted June 15, 2005 Author #2 Share Posted June 15, 2005 We are cruising 02/06 and I just read another thread and it looks like I'll need passports...
DaytonCruiser Posted June 15, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 15, 2005 Do I need a passport for the Caribbean or no? What all do I need? It would make things much easier with a passport. If you are sailing before 2006 you will just need a Birth Certificate and Picture ID. After 12/31/05 you will need to get a passport.
eboon Posted June 15, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted June 15, 2005 This cruise is supposed to be a surprise for my hubby, so is there any way I can get a passport for him without him being present? I have a picture we took around 5 months ago for a passport app so can I use this? Does he have to sign anything in the presence of anyone? We are cruising Feb 2006
doone Posted June 15, 2005 #5 Share Posted June 15, 2005 You will need a passport for your 2/06 cruise and there is no way you can get a passport for your husband without his knowledge. He needs to have passport pictures taken and he must sign the passport form. Enjoy your cruise. Which ship are you sailing?
eboon Posted June 15, 2005 Author #6 Share Posted June 15, 2005 Not sure which ship we are sailing yet, we are looking at the Golden Princess, Celebrity Constellation and a bunch of the Royal Caribbean ships. My TA quoted some prices and when I went on the cruise websites, those prices were cheaper so I'm not sure why....I decided to tell my hubby that we need to get passports for our 'Canada vacation' (we live in Michigan) and since we'll be needing passports pretty soon to get in Canada, that'll work! :)
doone Posted June 15, 2005 #7 Share Posted June 15, 2005 That's a perfect solution. Enjoy whichever ship you choose.
