Can you buy bottles?

Recommended Posts

On our cruise on Carnival we were able to buy a bottle for the room :(

Reason I was asking is our Royal Cruise is port intensive so not worth buying the alcohol package - just wanted a little something in the room and we are not wine drinkers.

Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the direction, figured it out.

Insane pricing to say the least.

Compared to your local liquor store, yes. Compared to a big city restaurant, not bad at all.

You cannot buy bottles of alcohol for your room period - including the royal suite. The best you can do is order a cocktail to be delivered, or buy one at a bar and bring it back to the cabin.

You can purchase wine and champagne in advance for use in your room. You can also bring 2 bottles per cabin of either wine or champagne on board in your carry on luggage. This is a recently new policy for Royal Caribbean.
