 Going on cruise to Alaska in August, do we need suntan lotion?

Yes! I have gotten sunburned on Alaskan cruises twice. The first time, I had planned to pack sunscreen, but forgot. It is very expensive in the ship's shop. The second time I had sunscreen with me, but neglected to put it on. That time I wish I had brought aloe vera, and would have gladly paid any price for it in the ship's shop, but they didn't have any. :(

We sailed on September 1st out of Seattle and had fabulous weather for most of our cruise (except Juneau and Sitka). The pic below was taken the afternoon before we sailed in to Victoria on Sept 7th (please excuse my white legs lol). You may not need sunscreen, but then again, you might ;)
