Car Companies!!!

I looked up car companies for rental in Miami and there are so many I don't recognize. Anyone please who do you rent with? Companies like EZ and Royal and Economy are new to me! Help!:confused:

National, Alamo and Thrifty offer free shuttles to POM from their MIA airport location. Hertz offers free shutttles to POM from their downtown Miami location. Avis does not offer free shuttles, but their downtown location is only a $10 cab ride from POM.

I would stick to the ones you are familiar with. My experience is that the ones you have not heard of will have hidden fees and I would just avoid them.

EZ is fine, we've used them before although not in Miami. Haven't heard of Royal or Economy.

Stick with a brand name national rental car company that will provide you with better service and less hassle. I've read many horror stories on Cruise Critic in reference to the smaller, local companies. I've received great service from Dollar, Budget, Thifty, Hertz, and Alamo. Some of the smaller companies will nickel and dime you for everything and will always attempt to upsell you after they explain that the vehicle you reserved isn't available.
