how many hangers in a typical room on ship?

The previous responses are correct. There are plenty of hangers and if you need more just ask your room steward/ess.

Never enough for me. I've only been on 2 cruises but each time there were maybe 8 or so hangers. I hang everything and I tend to overpack. So for a seven day cruise, I would need at bare minimum 20 hangers for just myself. We just throw some huggable hangers in the top of our suitcases before we close them. I also hang several things together on one hanger. Maybe one day I will learn how to not take so much, but I won't hold my breath.

I will join with the "Not enough hangers" group now making the number (7). I also bring about 2 dozen dry cleaner hangers to the ship which I leave. As others have stated, I like to hang as many clothes as possible on hangers giving me more room in the dresser drawers for all the other things.
